What do you do and why do you do it?

I am the reigning Ms. International World India 2020. I have another pageant title to my credit which is Mrs India World 2019 1RU. The World of Pageantry excites me as it provides an empowering platform for women to voice their opinions and create a change in the societal lattice of the world. My zeal and responsibility towards the field of Pageantry led me to create and develop The International Glamour Project - India's Biggest Internationally associated Pageant for Teens, Miss & Mrs. It is an ecosystem of women empowerment that gives women of all age groups to come together to realise their 'inner glamour' not focusing on height and waist size as we believe such criteria objectify women.

How does what you do benefit others?
The International Glamour Project is India's Biggest Internationally associated Pageant for Teens, Miss & Mrs. It is an ecosystem of women empowerment that gives women of all age groups an opportunity to come together and realise their 'inner glamour', showcasing it to the world. It gives a platform to 100+ women chosen from all over the country to compete on a national level and represent India on the international platform. Along with this, I have also co-founded Dream and Believe Foundation which is an NGO and drives humanitarian efforts.

Describe your career journey and how it led you to where you are now.
I started young, at the age of 18 years, by entering the field of glamour as a Professional Model. I worked for 5 years professionally. Along side I also secured my Bachelor's Degree in Dentistry. It is after this that I chose to pursue my Masters in Pediatric Dentistry and took a break from my modelling career. After earning my Masters Degree, I set up my own private clinic as well as worked in a multi-speciality hospital providing oral health care services to children from various socio-economic strata. There on, I dedicated 10 years of my service to the child population. Throughout this period, I had the companionship of Dr. Swaroop Puranik, my husband and life partner. Together, we have a beautiful 5 year old girl named MIRKA which means tranquility and prosperity. It is my motherhood journey that nudged me to get back to the field of glamour but this time it was in the form of Pageantry because I chose to become not only a model but a role model.

Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
My ambition is to reach out to Millions empowering them to realise their true potential urging each one of them to make a difference.

If you could have one superpower to help you further your purpose, what would it be and why? How would you use it?
If I had one super power to help me further my purpose, it would be to make ever human being on this planet earth realise the importance of acceptance and inclusion. Acceptance and Inclusion are virtues that have been forgotten in today's materialistic world. If we embraced each and every person with all the warmth and showed compassion, it would truly make this world a better place.

Eliza Cole: Future Supermodel Extraordinaire

"My name is Eliza Cole, I am 20 years old from South Carolina, a true Southern Belle. I am a full-time cosmetologist with dreams and aspirations to be a full-time model. I competed in several local pageants as well as my high school pageant. When I was a Senior in high school, I was a Senior Model Rep for a local photographer. This is when the modeling bug hit me. I loved being in front of a camera where my fashion skills came out.  My goal is to be a catalog model, but if this does not work out, I would love to continue modeling as well as photoshoots."   What do you do and why do you do it? Currently, I am a Cosmetologist assistant and makeup artist. My plan is to one day be a full-time model, doing hair and makeup on the side. I started modeling locally through a photographer friend who suggested I try out for the local fashion shows. This led me to several local runway modeling opportunities. Modeling for me is all about the presentation, the presentation of hair, makeup,

Titans of Tomorrow: Medical Professionals Creating Change

In today's world, we've all witnessed the immeasurable importance of medical professionals in society. After a daunting year of near apocalyptic horror, with all of Earth falling prey to the treacherous pandemic, Covid-19, it's undeniable that we would not have made it through without the medical professionals in the world. We're not just talking about the doctors leading the charge in pathology, immunology and laboratory research. We're also talking about the well trained nursing staff who had to execute treatment plans for ill patients in hospitals and nursing homes. We're talking about the mental health counselors and therapists who coached people through a year of so much loss, restriction and isolation. We're talking about the administrative staff at hospitals, clinics and testing centers who kept everything afloat on the back end from patient services, insurance billing and scheduling appointments. We're talking about the janitorial staff that ke

Titans Of Tomorrow: #BlackBusinessesMatter The First Wave

Image Credit It's no secret that people of color have been some of the greatest contributors to society in all facets of life. From the Dr. Kings and Malcom X's in the civil rights era to the Naomi Campbells and Tyra Bankses of the fashion industry to the Oprah Winfreys and Wendy Williamses of media and marketing, they have been hands down crucial to the world in every sense of the word. Yet, why are we in 2020 and still they have no peace? They've journeyed through the valleys and shadows of death to arrive at their accomplishments and successes, moving mountains and walking on waters of faith and dreams, but still have to say things like #BlackLivesMatter. Well, we recognize that people of color are not only iconic but essential. Warriors of their time, valiantly battling racism, discrimination, oppression, poverty, the black and brown prison pipeline, police brutality and more, they stand tall as true Titans of Tomorrow. This article sheds a little light on some black
