What do you do and why do you do it?

I am the reigning Ms. International World India 2020. I have another pageant title to my credit which is Mrs India World 2019 1RU. The World of Pageantry excites me as it provides an empowering platform for women to voice their opinions and create a change in the societal lattice of the world. My zeal and responsibility towards the field of Pageantry led me to create and develop The International Glamour Project - India's Biggest Internationally associated Pageant for Teens, Miss & Mrs. It is an ecosystem of women empowerment that gives women of all age groups to come together to realise their 'inner glamour' not focusing on height and waist size as we believe such criteria objectify women.

How does what you do benefit others?
The International Glamour Project is India's Biggest Internationally associated Pageant for Teens, Miss & Mrs. It is an ecosystem of women empowerment that gives women of all age groups an opportunity to come together and realise their 'inner glamour', showcasing it to the world. It gives a platform to 100+ women chosen from all over the country to compete on a national level and represent India on the international platform. Along with this, I have also co-founded Dream and Believe Foundation which is an NGO and drives humanitarian efforts.

Describe your career journey and how it led you to where you are now.
I started young, at the age of 18 years, by entering the field of glamour as a Professional Model. I worked for 5 years professionally. Along side I also secured my Bachelor's Degree in Dentistry. It is after this that I chose to pursue my Masters in Pediatric Dentistry and took a break from my modelling career. After earning my Masters Degree, I set up my own private clinic as well as worked in a multi-speciality hospital providing oral health care services to children from various socio-economic strata. There on, I dedicated 10 years of my service to the child population. Throughout this period, I had the companionship of Dr. Swaroop Puranik, my husband and life partner. Together, we have a beautiful 5 year old girl named MIRKA which means tranquility and prosperity. It is my motherhood journey that nudged me to get back to the field of glamour but this time it was in the form of Pageantry because I chose to become not only a model but a role model.

Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
My ambition is to reach out to Millions empowering them to realise their true potential urging each one of them to make a difference.

If you could have one superpower to help you further your purpose, what would it be and why? How would you use it?
If I had one super power to help me further my purpose, it would be to make ever human being on this planet earth realise the importance of acceptance and inclusion. Acceptance and Inclusion are virtues that have been forgotten in today's materialistic world. If we embraced each and every person with all the warmth and showed compassion, it would truly make this world a better place.
